ARTIST BIO

I am a resident of Melbourne and have been painting for many years. Despite having no formal art education or training I began painting to release a creative urge.

By combining elements from Cubism, Fauvism and Impressionism I strive to create a visual language that goes beyond realistic representation.

My use of stripes and strokes aim to create dynamic, visually engaging compositions that incorporate objects within their abstractions. These objects could be recognizable shapes, or even fragments of the real world, juxtaposed with abstract elements.
