As a child I loved my books, and the drawings and illustrations that enriched the stories. There was no television back then. I spent time in the garden and bushland daydreaming, drawing flowers, trees and butterflies.
In high school I really enjoyed everything about art. It opened a whole new world for me. My favourite artist was Vincent Van Gogh, and I loved impressionism.
These days I love being involved in creating a piece that on some level sparks and spreads joy in the viewer.
