Creating and crafting has always been a passion from childhood, so in 2005, painting was a natural evolvement.
Having always lived a rural lifestyle on the Bellarine Peninsula with the abundance of fields of flowers, fauna and a close proximity to the beach where Summer days were spent, is my inspiration to paint.
Beautiful, vibrant flowers give the eye much pleasure, comfort and joy!
Beach days and water aspects promote peace and often serenity.
The colour palette I delve with, tends to be radiant, glossy and cheerful.
I often add texture/mixed media for an interest to the eye and contrast. Using watercolour, acrylic and experimenting with oils, you can give so much depth and interest.
The most exciting aspect of painting is that landscapes and the beauty surrounding us is forever changing, so you always have something new and inspirational to paint and create; learning and discovering new, exciting lessons of art forever.... |
