ARTIST NOTES: This piece explores the concept of “perfectly imperfect”. Beauty is often described as perfection, but displaying imperfection can enhance too. The added interest and texture of the flaws, the way the light catches them and creates interesting shadows, this is what make these damaged flowers more beautiful.
